The Lotus 20 quickly achieved immense success in Formula Junior, driven by legends like Jim Clark, John Surtees, Denny Hulme, and other rising stars. Among them was Jo Siffert, one of Switzerland’s top drivers in the 1960s and early 70s. In 1962, Siffert raced with the Lotus 20, and despite his limited financial resources, he managed to win numerous races across Europe, ultimately dominating the 1962 World Junior Trophy. This victory propelled Siffert into higher racing categories and later earned him a position as an official Porsche driver.
